Igeta shoyu is located in the Shimane prefecture, known to be home to one of the most ancient Japanese Shinto temple. This little soy sauce producer was founded in 1956. Igeta Shoyu wants to share the sense of morality through his products. To do so, each product is made keeping in mind that it must bring happines to the customer. All the ingredients such as Japanese rice, spring water are selected carefully. Igeta soy sauces are fermented at room temperature for one year and a half to two years. This fermentation happens in huge cedar barrels that can contain up to 20000kg.
