Cooking instructions: Chicken Jalfrezi recipe.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 finely chopped onion, fry until soft.
- Add 2 tsp of finely chopped ginger. 1 tsp of finely chopped garlic and 1/2 a jar of Patak's Jalfrezi spice paste, cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 50 ml of water, cook until the water has evaporated.
- Add 500g diced chicken, cook until sealed. Add 1 sliced red & 1 sliced green pepper, 200g chopped tomatoes and 100ml of water, simmer uncovered until the chicken is cooked (approx. 15 minutes).
- Add 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander, cook for 1-2 minutes, season to taste and serve with rice and naan.
