To prepare 1kg of meat or fish, boil 3 dessertspoons of cooking oil or margarine in a pan. Fry a finely chopped onion, pepper, salt, and a few crushed cloves of garlic to taste. Then add 1.5 dessertspoon Sranan Spices Massala and let it brown completely on a low heat with constant stirring to prevent sticking to the pan. Add meat / fish in the pan, stir and simmer for 2 minutes on high heat. Pour 2 cups of hot water into the pan, stir again, bring to boil and seal with a lid. Your delicious Massala dish is cooked within 45 minutes.
