Japanese premium alcoholic drink based on rice. Sake has been produced in Japan for centuries through the fermentation of rice and water. The taste can be compared to sherry, but due to the many varieties of sake, this can differ greatly. Ozeki Premium Junmai is the traditional style sake that pairs well with fish dishes and salty food. This sake is dry and delicate on the palate with a full-bodied flavor and well-balanced aroma.
Sake is also widely used in Japanese cuisine, in marinades, soups and sauces. Serve cold, warm or at room temperature.
