Rogan Josh Curry Paste, 250ml

Ingredients: water, ground spices (24%) [paprika (6%), coriander, turmeric, cumin, spices, fennel (1%), black pepper (1%)], rapeseed oil (19%), salt, maize flour, acid (acetic acid, citric acid), tamarind, garlic powder. This product must be cooked.

Preparations: Lamb Rogan Josh recipe. serves 4

1. Heat 3tsb oil in a pan and add 1 medium diced onion, fry until soft.
2. Add 1tsp finely chopped ginger, 1tsp finely chopped garlic, 1tbsp of tomato puree and 1/2 a jar of Patak's Rogan Josh spice paste, cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 50mL of water, cook until the water has evaporated.
3. Remove from the heat, stir in 1 tbsp yogurt, return to heat, add 500g diced lamb, cook until sealed. Add 150mL water and simmer covered until the lamb is tender (approx. 30minutes).
4. Add 200g chopped tomatoes and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, season to taste, garnish with fresh diced coriander and serve with rice or naan.
