Before use: Place the jackfruit in a colander and rinse with cold water. Recipe tips: Jackfruit absorbs the flavor of sauces, marinades and herbs well. Cook it with onions and your favorite sauce for a delicious sandwich spread or add kidney beans, black beans and vegetables for a vegan chili dish. Also beautifully cooked in coconut milk or in a (Thai) appetizer.
