Dorayaki Chestnuts, 300g

Similar to the traditional Dorayaki, Dorayaki Chestnuts consists of two pancake-like sponge cakes that are soft and slightly sweet. The cakes are made from a simple batter of flour, sugar, eggs and baking powder and are cooked on a griddle or skillet until golden brown.

In this variant, the filling is made with sweet chestnut paste, which is created by simmering chestnuts with sugar until they become soft and sweet. The chestnut paste is then used as a filling to sandwich the two dorayaki pancakes together.
