This liqueur is made from fermented sorghum and is further flavored with lots of sugar and Chinese roses. It tastes more like vodka, but with a rose-scented slightly sweet undertone. The Chinese often use this liqueur in meat dishes such as char siu (Chinese roasted pork) and lap cheung (dried Chinese pork sausage).
